NOVO Santa Clarita is a both a missions agency that supports and serves everyday missionaries and we are a network of micro-churches. We take Jesus’ command to “make disciples” seriously.

As a missions agency we are equipping ordinary people to be disciple-makers. We do this through training, coaching, creating resources, encouraging gatherings, and more.

We are also a network of micro-churches. As new disciples are made they often form into simple and easy to reproduce churches. We call these micro-churches. We believe that micro-churches are better together, and so we support, serve, and walk with the leaders of these micro-churches.

You may hear us use the phrase “everyday missionary”. We believe that missions is not just something for “professional Christians” who live overseas. We believe that God has called every believer to live as a missionary where he has intentionally placed them and in every context he leads us to. An “everyday missionary” then is simply ordinary people (like you and me) who plant themselves in a network of relationship in order to make disciples of Jesus, and witness micro-churches emerge.

As new disciples are made micro-churches begin to emerge. These micro-churches are extended spiritual families and they are led by ordinary people, not paid professionals. They own the mission of Jesus in their network of relationships.

As multiple micro-churches form in the same geographic area or affinity group, often, they begin to form into a collective. Our desire is to see those collectives mature to be autonomous church expressions with shared elders, shared resources, and shared gatherings.
